Reservation is not required here they have excellent food and generally a small wait during busy times but don't worry just head over and visit them they are open from lunch til late at night
No. Locally owned and fantastic
I had lunch there today with my mother and son. While the food wasn't bad, my mother bit down on a piece of ceramic or plastic that was in her refried beans. They were nice enough to comp her meal but my son and I couldn't finish our lunch due to being fairly grossed out. The waitress asked if my mother was ok and she apologized. Once we got home, my mom realized her back tooth is chipped so now she'll have to pay for an expensive dentist visit. Not to thrilled with this at all.
Great food. Reasonable prices. Roxanne is a great waitress.
Staff does the extra to make your experience a good one. Thanks for the cookie
The service was good. Unfortunately they have mango flavor in just about everything, I did find a few things that didn't include it. This is a destination to visit for a great margarita.
This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. I would say it is has more of an American flare to it. Very nice setting and atmosphere. Easy to get to being right on 515. The food is good just different from your typical Mexican foods. They do run specials on Tuesday for tacos and margaritas.
Food was great, just not heated thoroughly. Really enjoyed the sauce bar and the staff were friendly enough. Average cleanliness and pricing is fair, but high compared to other Mexican restaurants in Blue Ridge. Probably still prefer Monte Albans, but they don't open until 12 on Saturdays. But, we do love the breakfast burritos here!
Food was great but the service was very poor.Hardly seen my waitress and by the time she offered me a refill I was done.I will come back a second time because I believe in second chances and the food is really good....
Great food, friendly servers and fast delivery of the food to the table.
Waiter was hot, food was not. We all got food poisoning and it tasted horrible. By far the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten.
Was there for an hour and our poor server came back to tell us that he forgot to put our order in. We were a table of 11. :-( the chips, salsa and draft beer was good. Unfortunately 2 of the wait staff did not know how to pour draft beer or make margaritas today. I watched this from the bar.
We were looking for a breakfast spot while on a weekend trip around Blue Ridge. I was happy to find Mesquite has a breakfast menu! I’m a south Texas girl and I love breakfast tacos. The breakfast taco plate exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend was also very happy with his breakfast burrito. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come in again.
Great portions. Delicious queso dip. Quiche service. I suggest chicken anything.
Great food! Found a local treasure and will definitely be back!!
It was great good food great service awesome margaritas
Everything was extremely salty. Tacos varied in amount of filling. Requested more cheese as one of them barely had any at all. Waitress brought shredded lettuce on a plate with the cheese all mixed in. Backs of chairs are dirty as well as the windows and more. We won't go back.
Food was ok over priced, steak was burnt and salsa like water....wont be back
Great food, staff and very dog friendly! The outdoor patio is comfortable, they brought a dish of water out for our dog without even asking if we wanted one. Very helpful with things to do in the area. We've heard their breakfast is fantastic, so we will be back while we are still in the area.
A pleasant upgrade from typical Mexican restaurants. Great service and atmosphere.
Great food!! Love the atmosphere and decor! The food is authentic and the wait staff is friendly!!
The food is average for Mexican food, but one of the only options in Blue Ridge. If you ask for cheese dip with jalapenos, they just throw a few sliced jalapenos in the dip....would be better if the jalapenos were chopped up for added flavor. The salsa is also lacking in flavor compared to the local Mexican restaurants in the Atlanta area. Margs are too expensive for a small town.
Food was great! Service was the best!
Awesome food! Awesome service. We’ve never gotten bad food or service here.
Good was good but service wasn't great.
The food was awesome! There was no wait time. And due to COVID-19 every one was social distancing!
Awesome place to eat. Good tasty food and great hospitality. Cooks fresh and takes time, worth it
Love this mexican grill destination!
On our way to Cherokee and stopped at the first place close to the road. This is some of the best Mexican food I have eaten. My plate of Tacos from the grille took up half the table. I hope to find one of these gems close to home someday. Staff is friendly and food arrived in a timely manner.
Was seated and then asked to move outside, the server said yes she’d be with us momentarily. Waited 30 almost 35 minutes to be taken care of. We had 3 servers walk past us without the curtesy to ask us if we had been taken care of. Asked to speak to a manager and the manger came out all respectfully until I asked, “I just wanted to make sure we were getting waited on, a lady brought out our chips and salsa about 15 minutes ago.” He then started being disrespectful with me accusing my group and I of moving on the patio without asking and then would not let me speak after his statement was done. I respectfully said, “I would just like to be served.” As to him walking away without me even finishing what I was saying. Overall my server that showed up was amazing and respectful and she was tipped highly. Bad management, maybe due to the stress of low staff. But the manager was very disrespectful. Don’t think i’ll be bringing my service back here.
Taco bell is so much better. The soft taco was dripping watery juice. The bean burrito seemed poured from a can. The only thing good was the coca cola
Excellent food, not the traditional americanized taste. Fresh flavor.
Our server(christia) was the only thing keeping us from walking right out of the place. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. The food was mediocre at best. The flavor was missing from each of our plates. The tilapia was burnt and also bland at best. I will not be back to dine and will not recommend this place to anyone.
We love eating there with our friends Mr. Joe and Pam. The food and drink are great!
Enjoy the food service seemed slack in some areas but the food made up for it.
We've eaten here before and it was excellent, but not so much this last time. Half was hot and fresh and half tasted like it had sat around.
Good food and typically well served. Though they have Mexican food that you expect, they also have some other items that are not the usual fare and quite good.
Great food and you get a lot for the price. Nice staff.
Excellent food and a lot of it, bring your appetite!
Always good, clean and just great all around company!
Good draft beer ice cold
Absolutely Amazing. Hubby and I had our last dinner in Blue Ridge here and were so upset that we hadn't found it sooner! Honestly, some of the best food we've had in a very long time and certainly THE BEST Tex-Mex either of us has ever had. It doesn't look like much when you pull up and the parking is a bit limited but once you sit down you understand why the lot is full. I didn't get the name of our server but he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful...it really helped make the evening. The portions, options, and prices are stellar and the quality is up there with 4 and 5 star restaurants. Forget any chain-style restaurant in the area and just come here!!!
Did not have some dishes and queso was lukewarm.
Good service, but the food was only so so
Food was great! They were able to accommodate a Vegan appetite! VERY nice people! Would love to ho again!
We ordered take out today and was very disappointed. We order two plates of chicken, cheese and rice and a small cheese dip. It was almost $30. The food was horrible and very bland, nothing like Mexican food. The chips were stale, Salsa tasted like tomato sauce, and the cheese dip tasted like it was out of can. Will not be going back and would encourage everyone to save their money. It’s sad to say that Taco Bell would have been better.
Fish tacos were dry but the service was fantastic and food was speedy! No wait time either, love the salsa bar & queso (though it’s not thick and rather runny— it has great flavor!). Will be going back.
Food and service was great margaritas are amazing
Great atmosphere and staff. Good family place. Open for dine in as of Cinco de Mayo.
Our waitress was super nice and the food was amazing
Outside Dog Friendly Dining Area. Service was Excellent and fast. However, they need s outside fan and more covered area. During Hot Sunny Days the afternoon Sun can be too hot.
Our server was very sweet but it seemed like she was having to serve and bartend food was good and salsa was ok but we were never brought more than the first serving and there was no salt on the table or the chips. The building was cute and the bathroom seems clean. The drinks such and mojito and margarita seemed weak.
